After 17 minutes of play, Islas FC's Oscar Confesor made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricard Campbell was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ricard Campbell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Confesor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Islas FC were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Cabildo FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Israel Goyo took the corner. Islas FC's Israel Goyo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ricard Campbell in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Wincent Knopek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Soriano Budinich in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Confesor in the 32nd minute of play forced Cabildo FC's goalkeeper Ricard Campbell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wincent Knopek showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Israel Goyo fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Islas FC's protests and gave Israel Goyo a yellow card for diving instead. Israel Goyo hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the game, Gualberto Pinto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cabildo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Islas FC the free kick. A collision led to Cabildo FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Gualberto Pinto hit a great ball. After 80 minutes of play Cabildo FC's Luciano Wilkenson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. The supporters of Islas FC booed when Cabildo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Bolaños didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricard Campbell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Confesor, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Islas FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cabildo FC.
