Wincent Knopek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfried Pinson in the 4th minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Israel Goyo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Joost De Groot, passed just outside the right post. Octave Revel kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Le Stade Briochin UC defense, Oscar Confesor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joost De Groot. The Le Stade Briochin UC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joost De Groot should have stopped the shot. Gaël Pillot hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 12 minutes of play, Islas FC's Oscar Confesor made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joost De Groot was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wilfried Pinson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wincent Knopek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Wincent Knopek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Islas FC's Oscar Confesor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joost De Groot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Islas FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Israel Goyo in the 20th minute. Islas FC's Israel Goyo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joost De Groot in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Islas FC booed when Le Stade Briochin UC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfried Pinson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joost De Groot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Confesor in the 29th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Le Stade Briochin UC's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Confesor came free, but Joost De Groot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Eduardo Machado sped through Islas FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wincent Knopek. 34 minutes into the match, Le Stade Briochin UC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Quico came free, but Joost De Groot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aristides Ubendu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Joost De Groot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joost De Groot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Confesor in the 37th minute of play. Islas FC's Wincent Knopek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Machado in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eduardo Machado to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacobo Gabirel during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Islas FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Jacobo Gabirel hit a great ball. Octave Revel hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After 70 played minutes Islas FC got a freekick which was hit by Teodosio Quico. In the 72nd minute, Teodosio Quico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute, Fabien Kac sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Islas FC's Wincent Knopek didn't even have to move. Eduardo Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. If Israel Goyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th match minute, Le Stade Briochin UC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octave Revel to maneuver through the defense. Joost De Groot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Confesor in the 86th minute of play. Aristides Ubendu kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. A hard shot by Tony Amadieu from long distance, 89 minutes into the match, got Wincent Knopek's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Fabien Kac got free in front of the goal in the 91st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Wincent Knopek was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 95th minute Oscar Confesor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joost De Groot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Islas FC had won after a very even match.
