Traian Pantea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fausto Queirós went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 17 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when J.J Ares came free, but Waldir Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by J.J Ares in the 19th minute of play forced Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Waldir Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldir Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from J.J Ares, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Ares FC -MM-'s goalkeeper Traian Pantea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caetano Toscano. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and J.J Ares made a kick off. Traian Pantea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Barcellos Mineiro FC booed when Ares FC -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavian Onitiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, J.J Ares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ares FC -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but J.J Ares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waldir Peres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigi Arosculesei in the 70th minute of play forced Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Waldir Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldir Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristide Chihaia in the 74th minute of play. In the 79th minute, J.J Ares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Waldir Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigi Arosculesei, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 87 minutes into the match, Leandro Soares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Traian Pantea. Ares FC -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leandro Soares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 94 minutes into the match, J.J Ares dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Waldir Peres, 4-1.
