After 3 minutes of play, forsal FC's Alberigo Cavaliere made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Firme Abaunza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alberigo Cavalieres short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Firme Abaunza to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Firme Abaunza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clóvis Secco in the 16th minute of the match. In the last second Firme Abaunza throw himself and got hold of the ball when Clóvis Secco in the 16thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 17th minute of the match forsal FC got a corner. Munat Tayka's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Augusto Nero ran over to the corner to take the kick. Munat Tayka's Firme Abaunza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beppe Micucci in the 19th minute of play. After having played for 21 minutes, Clóvis Secco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. forsal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clóvis Secco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to forsal FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Alberigo Cavaliere hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, forsal FC's Alberigo Cavaliere ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Firme Abaunza. Firme Abaunza yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The supporters of forsal FC booed when Munat Tayka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Abello didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute Carmine Moretta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Firme Abaunza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, forsal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Abello came free, but Alex Franceschi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tirso Abancens made a kick off. Clóvis Secco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Munat Tayka defense, Carmine Moretta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Firme Abaunza. The Munat Tayka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Firme Abaunza should have stopped the shot. Firme Abaunza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmine Moretta in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute Alberigo Cavaliere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Firme Abaunza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fliz Abadia in the 73rd minute of play forced forsal FC's goalkeeper Alex Franceschi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 74 played minutes Munat Tayka got a freekick which was hit by Honesto Abeita. In the 75th minute of the match Augusto Nero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Firme Abaunza skillfully saved the ball. Alex Franceschi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Abello in the 80th minute of the match. Carmine Moretta kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, forsal FC's Carmine Moretta got a free kick in the 89th minute. A collision led to Munat Tayka getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Candido Abendano hit a great ball. forsal FC's Alessandro Ronconi suffered a sore thigh after 96 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 96 minutes into the game, Inko Abajas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Munat Tayka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave forsal FC the free kick. forsal FC made a substitution. Aurelio Cangiano replaced Alessandro Ronconi. The supporters of forsal FC booed when Munat Tayka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inko Abajas didn't get a good kick on the ball. forsal FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
