Xzavaier Pedraza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Tolino, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute Vennancio Feyjo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Mon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeronimo Mon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carnero Arramendia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Club Atlético Escocia booed when Ornopata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carnero Arramendia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ornopata's zone, Facundo Nahas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xzavaier Pedraza came out of the goal and Facundo Nahas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd match minute, Club Atlético Escocia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Beturian to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Camilo Alderete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Mon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Escocia's goal looked a bit too open when Urbez Naveros came free, but Jeronimo Mon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Carnero Arramendia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeronimo Mon was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Ornopata's Xzavaier Pedraza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Ornopata from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Ornopata getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Jose-Antonio Hiriart hit a great ball. Leonel Caponi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Xzavaier Pedraza made a huge save.
Club Atlético Escocia's Baltasar Elazar was substituted for Carlos Lapurdi. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carnero Arramendia made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vennancio Feyjo in the 53rd minute of play forced Club Atlético Escocia's goalkeeper Jeronimo Mon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeronimo Mon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carnero Arramendia in the 55th minute. Vennancio Feyjo's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Escocia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vennancio Feyjo helped the player get up and apologised. Jeronimo Mon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carnero Arramendia, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After some careless play in the Ornopata defense, Filiberto Tolino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xzavaier Pedraza. The Ornopata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xzavaier Pedraza should have stopped the shot. In the 71st match minute, Ornopata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quiñónez Lloreda to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Leonel Caponi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ornopata's Xzavaier Pedraza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Nahas in the 80th minute of play. Narciso Sauveur kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Facundo Nahas took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xzavaier Pedraza. Xzavaier Pedraza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Facundo Nahas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Escocia's supporters rose to their feet, but Facundo Nahas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xzavaier Pedraza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ornopata players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club Atlético Escocia.
