Spectators: 7727 (Terracing: 5796, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Arvid Henriksson kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in FF Små Gröna Män's zone, Aron Lind stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. John Wahlnäs came out of the goal and Aron Lind tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. John Wahlnäs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thor Sjödin, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After a rather tough play, FF Små Gröna Män's Arvid Henriksson got a free kick in the 13th minute. John Wahlnäs made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan-Erik Trillkott in the 17th minute. Jan-Erik Trillkott's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, John Wahlnäs skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 24 minutes into the match, FF Små Gröna Män's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Brummer came free, but John Wahlnäs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, FF Små Gröna Män's Dick Hagberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patrik Alström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Stefan Brummer charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stefan Brummer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 38 played minutes Åsbro Flåsegutter got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Brummer. Jan-Erik Trillkott blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without John Wahlnäs having to make a save. John Wahlnäs stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thor Sjödin's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. After the first half FF Små Gröna Män were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan-Erik Trillkott made a kick off. Jan-Erik Trillkott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 56 played minutes FF Små Gröna Män got a freekick which was hit by Henry Larsson. 66 minutes into the match, FF Små Gröna Män's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Erik Trillkott came free, but John Wahlnäs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Åsbro Flåsegutter's Patrik Alström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvid Henriksson in the 68th minute of play. The supporters of Åsbro Flåsegutter booed when FF Små Gröna Män was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Strömbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard and well directed shot from Thor Sjödin led 73 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. FF Små Gröna Män's John Wahlnäs became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 2-1. John Wahlnäs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thor Sjödin in the 79th minute of the match. John Wahlnäs didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thor Sjödin went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 92nd minute, Arvid Henriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thor Sjödin in the 93rd minute of play forced FF Små Gröna Män's goalkeeper John Wahlnäs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Dick Hagberg took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Patrik Alström to make any attempt to save it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Åsbro Flåsegutter fans cheered their team off the field, for while FF Små Gröna Män had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
