In the 63rd minute, one of Zacisze Częstochowa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zacisze Częstochowa. Karol Kolbe's late challenge caught a forsal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karol Kolbe helped the player get up and apologised. Angelo Fiorentino was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 74 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of forsal FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Zacisze Częstochowa:s goal.
