Leonel Caponi hit a great ball. Loukas Kois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Tolino in the 12th minute of play. Jeronimo Mon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentinos Kanellakis in the 14th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Facundo Nahas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Loukas Kois was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 21 minutes, Takis Kanavidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kerkyra FC and the Club Atlético Escocia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Club Atlético Escocia's Baltasar Elazar was substituted for Leonel Caponi. Takis Kanavidis hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. If Facundo Nahas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 25 minutes on the clock, Kyriakos Lavdas commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Loukas Kois breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a left leg Jeronimo Mon saved Club Atlético Escocia from getting behind. Baltasar Elazar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Loukas Kois made a huge save. Jeronimo Mon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentinos Kanellakis in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 62nd minute of the game, Giotis Kalokerinos landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Marcos Beturian fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Escocia's protests and gave Marcos Beturian a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Kerkyra FC booed when Club Atlético Escocia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Beturian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Atlético Escocia's Jeronimo Mon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chrisostomos Labrakoglou in the 65th minute of play. Carlos Lapurdi kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th minute of the match Giorgos Maragozis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeronimo Mon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marinos Katsiaros in the 70th minute of play forced Club Atlético Escocia's goalkeeper Jeronimo Mon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Beturian hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Daryl Adcock lost his temper 75 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 76th minute there was a penalty for Kerkyra FC. Giorgos Maragozis stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jeronimo Mon. 1-2. Jeronimo Mon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 98thth minute of the game Valentinos Kanellakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Escocia's Jeronimo Mon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
