With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulu Şavat in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vânderson Esteves saved Lobo Guará from getting behind. Ulu Şavat took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vânderson Esteves. Vânderson Esteves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Turan Cansever made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Tande in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Nevşehirspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rıfat Hazlan to maneuver through the defense. Roberto Baiano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Turan Cansever. Nevşehirspor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Turan Cansever showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Mendonça in the 34th minute of the match. Vânderson Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulu Şavat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 minutes Lobo Guará's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aytunç Behzat who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Nevşehirspor getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Abuzer Uca hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nevşehirspor's zone, Gustavo Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Turan Cansever came out of the goal and Gustavo Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Mendonça in the 43rd minute of play forced Nevşehirspor's goalkeeper Turan Cansever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Gustavo Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turan Cansever saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustavo Nunes made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Ulu Şavat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vânderson Esteves was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When Abuzer Uca fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After some careless play in the Lobo Guará defense, Ulu Şavat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vânderson Esteves. The Lobo Guará fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vânderson Esteves should have stopped the shot. Vânderson Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aytunç Behzat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lobo Guará players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Nevşehirspor.
