The ball had pretty good speed, but Milio Cuero firmly grabbed it by the left post. 18 minutes into the match, ForestFire's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Arrelucea came free, but Wes Gillespie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Arrelucea in the 19th minute of play forced ForestFire's goalkeeper Wes Gillespie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Arrelucea in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wes Gillespie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Galvan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wes Gillespie. ForestFire's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 24th minute Victor Arrelucea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wes Gillespie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Arrelucea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Wes Gillespie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Victor Arrelucea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wes Gillespie was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Taio Lereira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Wes Gillespie made a huge save. ForestFire's Wes Gillespie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save ForestFire from getting a goal against them. Chayo Aguila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wes Gillespie having to interfere. The corner led Intimos de Reynoso's Carlos Galvan to fire away a dangerous shot which Wes Gillespie despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Goito Becerril fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wes Gillespie having to interfere. ForestFire's Wes Gillespie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save ForestFire from getting a goal against them.
