An unexpectedly hard shot by Chi Bay in the 13th minute of play forced De Kasteelheren's goalkeeper Alfred Oevermans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hub Groten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hub Groten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Mekki Pink made a huge save. Mekki Pink took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Dissels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hub Groten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Mekki Pink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mekki Pink was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Teun Otten capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Teun Otten really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Alfred Oevermans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gatot Makatita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind De Kasteelheren's goalkeeper Alfred Oevermans, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of JEMBer UTara booed when De Kasteelheren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martien Meerdink didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teun Otten to strike the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Martien Meerdink in the 65th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by JEMBer UTara's Jafar Mursadat. Jonathan Dissels kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Marnix van Alst kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Haddad Leimena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JEMBer UTara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haddad Leimena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chi Bay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Alfred Oevermans made a huge save. De Kasteelheren's Alfred Oevermans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chi Bay in the 78th minute of play. In the 87thth minute of the game Hub Groten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JEMBer UTara's Mekki Pink was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teun Otten in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mekki Pink saved JEMBer UTara from getting behind. De Kasteelheren's Alfred Oevermans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save De Kasteelheren from getting a goal against them.
