The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 12 minutes, Tadeo Florin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sportivo Mela Banco and the Papillon AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Mela Banco's Tadeo Florin got a free kick in the 12th minute. Sportivo Mela Banco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cayetano Gora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Filiberto Sauveur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugenio Gartxot was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. In the 96th minute, one of Sportivo Mela Banco:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sportivo Mela Banco. In the 98th minute there was a penalty for Papillon AC. Alexis Mac Allister stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cortez Obispo. 2-4. The Papillon AC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
