Cortez Obispo was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Davi Gavilanes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Davi Gavilanes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xanti Gavilanes in the 70th minute of play forced Sportivo Mela Banco's goalkeeper Cortez Obispo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the game, ...Pingue S.C....'s Xanti Gavilanes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cortez Obispo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 77 minutes into the match, Xanti Gavilanes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cortez Obispo. Sportivo Mela Banco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xanti Gavilanes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0.
