Filiberto Sauveur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Agustin Marchesan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 minutes LEBRON's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Domingo Torres who took care of the corner kick. In the 31st minute, Evelio Acevedo made a precise shot to the right of Cortez Obispo. Sportivo Mela Banco's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Mela Banco's Herminio Santo got a free kick in the 36th minute. Agustin Marchesan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto Sauveur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Ongile could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Cortez Obispo made a huge save. LEBRON's Agustin Marchesan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Santo in the 45th minute of play. After a rather tough play, LEBRON's Feliciano Federigo got a free kick in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Herminio Santo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sportivo Mela Banco's Cortez Obispo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Ongile in the 54th minute of play. Filiberto Sauveur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Agustin Marchesan made a huge save. In the 57th play minute Filiberto Sauveur came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Agustin Marchesan. 1-1. In the 63rd match minute, LEBRON was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cecilio Louis to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in LEBRON's zone, Herminio Santo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agustin Marchesan came out of the goal and Herminio Santo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 94 played minutes Sportivo Mela Banco got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Rozarius. In the 95th minute of the match Evelio Acevedo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cortez Obispo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
