Spectators: 7682 (Terracing: 5762, Seating: 1767, VIP seats: 153) Intimos de Reynoso's Belasko Aguiluz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belasko Aguiluz in the 2nd minute of play forced CERRO PORTEÑO's goalkeeper Giraldo Laiseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 3 minutes into the game, Orti Matos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CERRO PORTEÑO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Intimos de Reynoso the free kick. In the 3rd match minute, CERRO PORTEÑO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orti Matos to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th minute of the match Vedillo Legarda sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giraldo Laiseca skillfully saved the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Intimos de Reynoso's goal looked a bit too open when Patrido Puncet came free, but Milio Cuero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lucas Aumada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giraldo Laiseca came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Intimos de Reynoso's Taio Lereira. But to his dismay, Taio Lereira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Milio Cuero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Sobrido in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taio Lereira in the 30th minute of play forced CERRO PORTEÑO's goalkeeper Giraldo Laiseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, CERRO PORTEÑO's goal looked a bit too open when Belasko Aguiluz came free, but Giraldo Laiseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giraldo Laiseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taio Lereira in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, CERRO PORTEÑO's Astor Sobrido got a free kick in the 35th minute. A collision led to Intimos de Reynoso getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Magdaleno Virto hit a great ball. After 41 minutes, Gartxot Antonijoan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CERRO PORTEÑO and the Intimos de Reynoso players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 41 played minutes CERRO PORTEÑO got a freekick which was hit by Gartxot Antonijoan. When Gartzen Braña fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Intimos de Reynoso's protests and gave Gartzen Braña a yellow card for diving instead. CERRO PORTEÑO made a substitution. Hitz Valiente replaced Orti Matos. After 48 played minutes CERRO PORTEÑO got a freekick which was hit by Orti Matos.

In the 55th match minute, CERRO PORTEÑO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astor Sobrido to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Belasko Aguiluz in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giraldo Laiseca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, CERRO PORTEÑO's Giraldo Laiseca got control of the ball when Taio Lereira tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute, Belasko Aguiluz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Giraldo Laiseca. The goal made the score 0-2. Milio Cuero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Sobrido, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, CERRO PORTEÑO's Gartxot Antonijoan got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Giraldo Laiseca was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Vedillo Legarda. The supporters of Intimos de Reynoso booed when CERRO PORTEÑO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Farras didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Vedillo Legarda in the 88th minute really tested Giraldo Laiseca's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Giraldo Laiseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belasko Aguiluz in the 91st minute of the match. Astor Sobrido charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Astor Sobrido the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th match minute, CERRO PORTEÑO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astor Sobrido to maneuver through the defense.
