HEJA ESLÖV's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alexander Törnblom in the 14th minute. The referee ignored HEJA ESLÖV's protests and gave Kristoffer Kleen a yellow card for diving instead. Pieter de Zwart received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Simon Bergsten came out and tried to block the shot, but Pieter de Zwart slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Michael Eriksson in the 44th minute of play forced Mijdrecht Maffia's goalkeeper Mirko Vervoort to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Pieter de Zwart's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simon Bergsten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play.
