When Kacper Skaradowski fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KSF Racovia Częstochowa's protests and gave Kacper Skaradowski a yellow card for diving instead. Kacper Skaradowski hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute of the match Roger Rekers shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leszek Grocholski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pieter de Zwart in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leszek Grocholski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mijdrecht Maffia's Mirko Vervoort played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukasz Grajewski in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Mijdrecht Maffia booed when KSF Racovia Częstochowa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Nikodemski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leszek Grocholski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gert Smits, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KSF Racovia Częstochowa's Leszek Grocholski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerrit Driel in the 29th minute of play. Leszek Grocholski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pieter de Zwart in the 31st minute of play. Pieter de Zwart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 39 played minutes Mijdrecht Maffia got a freekick which was hit by Otto Genkenaar. Pieter de Zwart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Leszek Grocholski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for KSF Racovia Częstochowa! In the 47th minute there was a penalty for Mijdrecht Maffia. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sylwester Kaczeniak to strike the kick off in the second half. Pieter de Zwart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Leszek Grocholski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the game, Gert Smits recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leszek Grocholski. Gert Smits showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Franciszek Gejda kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. When Roger Rekers came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Mijdrecht Maffia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roger Rekers couldn't finish the play. In the 66thth minute of the game Pieter de Zwart who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KSF Racovia Częstochowa's Leszek Grocholski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gerrit Driel hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Kacper Skaradowski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mirko Vervoort. Mijdrecht Maffia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 72 played minutes Mijdrecht Maffia got a freekick which was hit by Jan Rein Roetering. Otto Genkenaar charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Otto Genkenaar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mirko Vervoort showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksander Walentowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute.
