But to his dismay, Oliver Friggieri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 22 minutes into the match, Octavia's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Degiorgio came free, but Luar Abadie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Octavia's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Friggieri came free, but Luar Abadie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Peppino Azzopardi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luar Abadie was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Marcos Troncoso came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Samuel Demicoli could save by the left post. The corner ended in Nicollao Abad almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Templars FC's Samuel Demicoli did a great save. In the 38th minute Sean Friggieri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luar Abadie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Marcos Troncoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Noel Trapani took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luar Abadie. Octavia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Templars FC's Samuel Demicoli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Templars FC from getting a goal against them. Ambrosio Abellaneda struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Samuel Demicoli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Octavia. 48 minutes into the match, Peppino Azzopardi notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Octavia's Luar Abadie. Luar Abadie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oliver Friggieri was the one to do the kick off. Samuel Demicoli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Abellaneda in the 53rd minute of the match. Samuel Demicoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Troncoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Oliver Friggieri kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luar Abadie. That made the score 1-4 in the 56 minute of play. Peter Degiorgio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute, Oliver Friggieri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Templars FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Marcos Troncoso struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Samuel Demicoli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Octavia. Keith DeGaetano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Luar Abadie firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mero Abella charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mero Abella the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 76th match minute, Octavia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mero Abella to maneuver through the defense. Nicollao Abad kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Keith DeGaetano was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 79th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Luar Abadie didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oliver Friggieri went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Octavia's Luar Abadie got control of the ball when Oliver Friggieri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Templars FC's Samuel Demicoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Yebra in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Templars FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Troncoso came free, but Samuel Demicoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luar Abadie made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Oliver Friggieri sent off a good shot on target. 95 minutes into the match, Templars FC's Oliver Friggieri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luar Abadie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ambrosio Abellaneda hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Templars FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
