The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Salim Haddad hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 15th match minute, Líbano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salim Haddad to maneuver through the defense. Salim Haddad's late challenge caught a HEJA ESLÖV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salim Haddad helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of HEJA ESLÖV booed when Líbano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salim Haddad didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, HEJA ESLÖV's goal looked a bit too open when Ibrahim Nadal came free, but Simon Bergsten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Líbano fully deserved thier win.
