Mirko Vervoort showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogoljub Ristić in the 6th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Erdal Ratkić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mirko Vervoort saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Veselin Pejović made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Jan Rein Roetering sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Roger Rekers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Veselin Pejović was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erdal Ratkić in the 44th minute of play forced Mijdrecht Maffia's goalkeeper Mirko Vervoort to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bogoljub Ristić took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mirko Vervoort. Mijdrecht Maffia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Veselin Pejović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Rein Roetering in the 88th minute of play. After 94 played minutes FISHBONE 06 got a freekick which was hit by Burek Zulfić. A collision led to FISHBONE 06 getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Anel Srna hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Mijdrecht Maffia's Roger Rekers tried to score from far away in the 98th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the FISHBONE 06 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mijdrecht Maffia.
