Quetzal Flyers Hammers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Delmar Orlanda ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Delmar Orlanda got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thomas Runeberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 18th minute, Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Algot Ahlrot seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Algot Ahlrot the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Quetzal Flyers Hammers protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Algot Ahlrot had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Quetzal Flyers Hammers:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CAM Football Club:s goal. Thomas Runeberg had in the 20thth minute some difficulties stopping Astor Nardo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Galo in the 24th minute of play forced Quetzal Flyers Hammers's goalkeeper Thomas Runeberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomas Runeberg made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Aquilino Gustau sent off a good shot on target. A throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game was made by Dario Eutropio with Feliciano Celio as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. CAM Football Club's Gaudencio Orlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamed Küdüs in the 42nd minute of play. Thomas Runeberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Galo, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mohamed Küdüs was the one to do the kick off. Thomas Runeberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Gustau in the 50th minute of play. In the 53rd minute Astor Nardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Runeberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CAM Football Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
