Clóvis Sergipano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brugge United. With a little luck, Brugge United's Aldo Candal got control of the ball when Víktor Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute, Jacinto Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clóvis Sergipano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thommy Pelgrims's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. After 15 played minutes BANDOLEIROS osasco got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Queirós. Binjamin Denturck, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 20 minutes of play, Brugge United's Thommy Pelgrims made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clóvis Sergipano was left in no man's land by his defense there! BANDOLEIROS osasco's Clóvis Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diederiek Daems in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute of the match Brugge United got a corner. BANDOLEIROS osasco's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Binjamin Denturck ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of BANDOLEIROS osasco booed when Brugge United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Binjamin Denturck didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Diederiek Daems had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Brugge United's Ryan Lanphant in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. BANDOLEIROS osasco's Cido de Brito was substituted for Christiano Hermes. Clóvis Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thommy Pelgrims in the 52nd minute of the match. Giuseppe Queirós hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Clóvis Sergipano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thommy Pelgrims, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, BANDOLEIROS osasco's goalkeeper Clóvis Sergipano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ryan Lanphant. Diederiek Daems received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Clóvis Sergipano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. BANDOLEIROS osasco's Yuri Domingues was substituted for Leandro Zica. Thommy Pelgrimss short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Clóvis Sergipano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. BANDOLEIROS osasco's Clóvis Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryan Lanphant in the 68th minute of play. Brugge United's Ryan Lanphant was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 68th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by BANDOLEIROS osasco's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Binjamin Denturck was slow to take the kick. During this time Brugge United's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Thommy Pelgrims got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Clóvis Sergipano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Arno Specht fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brugge United's protests and gave Arno Specht a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th match minute, Brugge United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arno Specht to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, BANDOLEIROS osasco's Osvaldo Queirós tried to score from far away in the 85th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Clóvis Sergipano made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Thommy Pelgrims sent off a good shot on target. After 88 played minutes Brugge United got a freekick which was hit by Binjamin Denturck. If Diederiek Daems had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clóvis Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thommy Pelgrims in the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Brugge United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than BANDOLEIROS osasco.
