Francisco Zonta was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 4 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Romando Futebol Clube:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rank 1:s goal. Dick Lindgren kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 10thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Romando Futebol Clube's keeper Clemente Hermes was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Rank 1's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gösta Beckman in the 12th minute. A nice corner shot did that Staffan Söderqwist got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Clemente Hermes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Clemente Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conny Vesterberg in the 15th minute of play. Conny Vesterberg took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clemente Hermes. Clemente Hermes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dick Lindgren during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dick Lindgren kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Klas Ståhlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nico Dantas in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Nico Dantas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Romando Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Dick Lindgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Clemente Hermes made a huge save. Mustafa Anıl Kayansel kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Conny Vesterberg hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Staffan Söderqwist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Hermes having to interfere. Clemente Hermes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conny Vesterberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Conny Vesterberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nico Dantas got free with Klas Ståhlberg in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nico Dantas during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th minute, Nico Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, Romando Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Conny Vesterberg came free, but Clemente Hermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 minutes Romando Futebol Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gösta Beckman who took care of the corner kick. Ramiro Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rank 1's Dick Lindgren in 74 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Clemente Hermes guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conny Vesterberg in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clemente Hermes saved Romando Futebol Clube from getting behind. 77 minutes into the match, Staffan Söderqwist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clemente Hermes. Romando Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Staffan Söderqwist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. When Nico Dantas came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Romando Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nico Dantas couldn't finish the play. Clemente Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conny Vesterberg in the 87th minute of play. Dick Lindgren took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clemente Hermes. Clemente Hermes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Jimmy Allbom hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Ramiro Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rank 1's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
