A collision led to Kolopetinitsa getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Vassilis Bogdanos hit a great ball. Elder Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kyriakos Matsikidis having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Simos Mellios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Hermes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramiro Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vladimir Alvarenga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kyriakos Matsikidis. Kolopetinitsa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ramiro Brito's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Kyriakos Matsikidis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 32 minutes into the match, Kolopetinitsa's goal looked a bit too open when Amauri de Barros came free, but Kyriakos Matsikidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Romando Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Francisco Zonta hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Markos Melisofagos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clemente Hermes was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. When Elder Tróia came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Romando Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elder Tróia couldn't finish the play. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of Kolopetinitsa booed when Romando Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Zonta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 56 played minutes Kolopetinitsa got a freekick which was hit by Makis Psomas. After a defensive mix-up in Kolopetinitsa's zone, Elder Tróia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kyriakos Matsikidis came out of the goal and Elder Tróia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kyriakos Matsikidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amauri de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elder Tróia struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Kyriakos Matsikidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Romando Futebol Clube. Kyriakos Matsikidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amauri de Barros in the 72nd minute of the match. Romando Futebol Clube's Clemente Hermes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nasos Aggeliou in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Nasos Aggeliou had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Zonta during the 74th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kolopetinitsa eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
