In the 16th minute Elder Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clóvis Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leandro Zaga during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leandro Zaga hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. With a left leg Clóvis Sergipano saved BANDOLEIROS osasco from getting behind. Ramiro Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hélio Fernandez's late challenge caught a BANDOLEIROS osasco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hélio Fernandez helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Romando Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Hélio Fernandez hit a great ball. BANDOLEIROS osasco's Clóvis Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elder Tróia in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

BANDOLEIROS osasco made a substitution. Cido de Brito replaced Christiano Hermes. The wind increased when Elder Tróia made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in BANDOLEIROS osasco's zone, Ramiro Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clóvis Sergipano came out of the goal and Ramiro Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the game, Elder Tróia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. The referee ignored Romando Futebol Clube's protests and gave Ramiro Brito a yellow card for diving instead. Nico Dantas might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clóvis Sergipano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nico Dantas ran back to his position shaking his head. Clemente Hermes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulisses de Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
