Spectators: 7800 (Terracing: 5851, Seating: 1794, VIP seats: 155) Jimmy-Floyd Sung started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Nueva Adalucia's Bingen Madariaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thommy Pelgrims in the 2nd minute of play. In the 5th minute of the match, Steff Caers tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bingen Madariaga saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Nueva Adalucia booed when Brugge United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steff Caers didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Brugge United's Arno Specht got a free kick in the 14th minute. Steff Caers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bingen Madariaga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Aldo Candal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dadá 魏延, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Aldo Candal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leocadio Sirvent in the 29th minute of play. Nueva Adalucia's Bingen Madariaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thommy Pelgrims in the 31st minute of play. Brugge United were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Nueva Adalucia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Binjamin Denturck took the corner. The corner led Brugge United's Binjamin Denturck to fire away a dangerous shot which Bingen Madariaga despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 34th minute Thommy Pelgrims shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bingen Madariaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmy-Floyd Sung in the 39th minute of play forced Brugge United's goalkeeper Aldo Candal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44thth minute of the game Ryan Lanphant who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nueva Adalucia's Bingen Madariaga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Brugge United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jimmy-Floyd Sung was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Brugge United's Diederiek Daems got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Leocadio Sirvent hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. When Diederiek Daems came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Brugge United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diederiek Daems couldn't finish the play. Bingen Madariaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thommy Pelgrims, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Nueva Adalucia defense, Diederiek Daems kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bingen Madariaga. The Nueva Adalucia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bingen Madariaga should have stopped the shot. Bingen Madariaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steff Caers in the 74th minute of play. Bingen Madariaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diederiek Daems in the 76th minute of the match. Aldo Candal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmy-Floyd Sung in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, one of Brugge United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 85 minutes Brugge United's goalkeeper Aldo Candal managed, with a little bit of luck, save Atilano Diez's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. Aldo Candal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jimmy-Floyd Sung in the 88th minute. Aldo Candal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mads Kollar, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Dadá 魏延 hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Aldo Candal was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Jimmy-Floyd Sung capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal.
