LA VIOLA's Stig Byström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save LA VIOLA from getting a goal against them. In the 6thth minute of the game Elder Tróia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LA VIOLA's Stig Byström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Romando Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Oskar Ståhlman came free, but Clemente Hermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stig Byström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nico Dantas went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. LA VIOLA were furious when Tuna Tunander was red carded, 16 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of Romando Futebol Clube booed when LA VIOLA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tuna Tunander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stig Byström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimir Alvarenga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rutger Westerberg struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Clemente Hermes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA VIOLA. After some careless play in the Romando Futebol Clube defense, Maria Lunden kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clemente Hermes. The Romando Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clemente Hermes should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maria Lunden during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 28 played minutes LA VIOLA got a freekick which was hit by Maria Lunden. Clemente Hermes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rutger Westerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rutger Westerberg in the 35th minute of play forced Romando Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Clemente Hermes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rutger Westerberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Clemente Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rutger Westerberg in the 41st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Ramiro Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Romando Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramiro Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stig Byström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Rutger Westerberg made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes LA VIOLA got a freekick which was hit by Nacho Abril. Stig Byström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amauri de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, LA VIOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Brito came free, but Stig Byström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramiro Brito hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Rutger Westerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LA VIOLA made a substitution. Abidin Onar replaced Maria Lunden. A collision led to Romando Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Silas Paraíba hit a great ball. Aron Bank shot from long distance in the 69th minute, but Clemente Hermes was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Romando Futebol Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aron Bank was slow to take the kick. During this time LA VIOLA's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on LA VIOLA's corner Aron Bank fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Clemente Hermes quite easily take care of the ball. Clemente Hermes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rutger Westerberg in the 77th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Romando Futebol Clube's Nico Dantas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stig Byström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Rutger Westerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, LA VIOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Elder Tróia came free, but Stig Byström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
