After 3 minutes, Ulisses de Medeiros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BANDOLEIROS osasco and the Kolopetinitsa players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, BANDOLEIROS osasco's Ulisses de Medeiros got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Clóvis Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lambros Karpodinis in the 5th minute of the match. Víktor Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kyriakos Matsikidis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, BANDOLEIROS osasco's Cido de Brito got a free kick in the 9th minute. Leandro Zica kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. BANDOLEIROS osasco's Clóvis Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lambros Karpodinis in the 14th minute of play. Diogenis Kastras charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diogenis Kastras the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, Kolopetinitsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diogenis Kastras to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Lambros Karpodinis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clóvis Sergipano was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Clóvis Sergipano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lambros Karpodinis, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The supporters of Kolopetinitsa booed when BANDOLEIROS osasco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christiano Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute Filippos Antoniou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clóvis Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lambros Karpodinis to make the kick off. Kyriakos Matsikidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulisses Cardozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vassilis Bogdanos's late challenge caught a BANDOLEIROS osasco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vassilis Bogdanos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd minute, Vassilis Bogdanos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 54 minutes of play, BANDOLEIROS osasco's Leandro Zica made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kolopetinitsa's Kyriakos Matsikidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Domingues in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, BANDOLEIROS osasco's goalkeeper Clóvis Sergipano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filippos Antoniou. In the 70th minute Yuri Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kyriakos Matsikidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clóvis Sergipano stood somewhat misplaced when Alkis Athanasiou came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 76 minute. After 85 played minutes BANDOLEIROS osasco got a freekick which was hit by José Pereira. Kyriakos Matsikidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuri Domingues, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute, Yuri Domingues left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BANDOLEIROS osasco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Kolopetinitsa's zone, Sílvio Luís Schmidt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kyriakos Matsikidis came out of the goal and Sílvio Luís Schmidt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
