With a little luck, Inter de Guayaquil FC's Zuriko Lagala got control of the ball when Adam Karlberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. After taking down the ball on LA VIOLA's corner Max Sundin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zuriko Lagala quite easily take care of the ball. Inter de Guayaquil FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nacho Abril 23 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0.
