Klas Ståhlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maria Lunden in the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, LA VIOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Conny Vesterberg came free, but Stig Byström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alfons Rönn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 22 minutes on the clock, Sven-Edvin Vester commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Stig Byström had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Gösta Beckman's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Alfons Rönn scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Klas Ståhlberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32nd minute, Rutger Westerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gösta Beckman came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Rank 1 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gösta Beckman couldn't finish the play. Klas Ståhlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfons Rönn in the 37th minute of the match. After 38 played minutes LA VIOLA got a freekick which was hit by Rutger Westerberg. Gösta Beckman struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Stig Byström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rank 1. Per-Oskar Ståhlman hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfons Rönn made a kick off. Klas Ståhlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maria Lunden, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The corner ended in Alfons Rönn almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rank 1's Klas Ståhlberg did a great save. After 55 played minutes LA VIOLA got a freekick which was hit by Per-Oskar Ståhlman. After 56 played minutes, Rank 1's Fabiano Antonini shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stig Byström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rank 1 reached it. Aron Bank recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of LA VIOLA booed when Rank 1 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conny Vesterberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th match minute, LA VIOLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rutger Westerberg to maneuver through the defense. Rank 1 were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after LA VIOLA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gösta Beckman took the corner. Rank 1's Gösta Beckman was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Stig Byström in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Stig Byström came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Rank 1's Conny Vesterberg. But to his dismay, Conny Vesterberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Klas Ståhlberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfons Rönn in the 78th minute. Stig Byström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dick Lindgren in the 79th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfons Rönn got free with Klas Ståhlberg in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 88 minutes, Alfons Rönn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LA VIOLA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfons Rönn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stig Byström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dick Lindgren in the 92nd minute of play. In the 92nd match minute, LA VIOLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Oskar Ståhlman to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conny Vesterberg in the 95th minute of play forced LA VIOLA's goalkeeper Stig Byström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the LA VIOLA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rank 1.
