The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Motta Futebol Clube's Luís Eduardo Reis got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilabert Alonso made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Luís Eduardo Reis sent off a good shot on target. Charro Camino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Leopoldo De la Rosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronaldinho Arósio. Motta Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leopoldo De la Rosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Leopoldo De la Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charro Camino in the 24th minute of play forced Motta Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Motta Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo De la Rosa came free, but Ronaldinho Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilabert Alonso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Eduardo Reis in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute Charro Camino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldinho Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Charro Camino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ronaldinho Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charro Camino, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Eduardo Reis got free with Gilabert Alonso in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leopoldo De la Rosa's late challenge caught a Motta Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leopoldo De la Rosa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute, Ezequiel Matorin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Motta Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Motta Futebol Clube's Chicão Guerra was substituted for Ezequiel Matorin.

The wind increased when Leopoldo De la Rosa made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Luís Eduardo Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilabert Alonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Racing Rocafort C.F.'s Ronaldinho Arósio threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Charro Camino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ronaldinho Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charro Camino in the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, Motta Futebol Clube's Chicão Guerra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilabert Alonso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Leopoldo De la Rosa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 67th minute. Racing Rocafort C.F.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Eduardo Reis in the 71st minute of play forced Racing Rocafort C.F.'s goalkeeper Gilabert Alonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chicão Guerra struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Gilabert Alonso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Motta Futebol Clube. 80 minutes into the game, Paulo Renato Motta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Motta Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Rocafort C.F. the free kick. Paulo Renato Motta kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Leopoldo De la Rosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Rocafort C.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo De la Rosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronaldinho Arósio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd minute, Motta Futebol Clube's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leopoldo De la Rosa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Leopoldo De la Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ronaldinho Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charro Camino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Ronaldinho Arósio made a huge save. When the referee ended the match the Motta Futebol Clube players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
