In the 3rdth minute of the game Emiliano Faro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Motta Futebol Clube's Ronaldinho Arósio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kaká Salles's late challenge caught a Leones FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kaká Salles helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Mundo to maneuver through the defense. Leonardo Poz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Lando's late challenge caught a Motta Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Lando helped the player get up and apologised. Aureliano Obeko acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 12th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fernando Motta. Amador Jakue kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Motta Futebol Clube's zone, Emiliano Faro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldinho Arósio came out of the goal and Emiliano Faro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aureliano Obeko made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Ezequiel Matorin sent off a good shot on target. Leonardo Poz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldinho Arósio having to interfere. Joélson Nogueira hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Emiliano Faro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kaká Salles was shown his second yellow card after 30 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Kaká Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Faro in the 31st minute of play forced Motta Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronaldinho Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Faro, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Eduardo Reis in the 61st minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Aureliano Obeko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Luís Eduardo Reis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aureliano Obeko was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Aureliano Obeko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Eduardo Reis's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Motta Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leones FC the free kick. In the 93rd minute Luís Eduardo Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Obeko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
