When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Válbson Carvalho made a kick off. Ivo Claus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dida Brasil having to interfere. In the 53rd minute Björn Mokros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, PREZULO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo Claus came free, but Dida Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute Maurizio Brink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, PREZULO FC's goalkeeper Dida Brasil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sascha Andre Rennert. Dida Brasil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Sascha Andre Rennert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Dida Brasil made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rot-Weiss-Essen had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
