An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Krotev in the 22nd minute of play forced Paunero's goalkeeper Modesto Theodore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, VN SOKOLI-VARNA's Haralampi Kúrkelanov got control of the ball when Norberto Valentine tried to sneak it across the goal line. Haralampi Kúrkelanov came out of the goal and Alonzo Gervaso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 94 played minutes Paunero got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Bernaldo. The Paunero supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching VN SOKOLI-VARNA's performance. The match ended with a win for VN SOKOLI-VARNA.
