The supporters of GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ booed when Espirillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Madeo Vilamajo didn't get a good kick on the ball. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Elbert Klerk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ from getting a goal against them. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 62ndth minute of the game Dorel Amarandei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Elbert Klerk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Espirillo FC's Simon Milian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Espirillo FC from getting a goal against them. Maximiliano Seguinus kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. If Teo Rozić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the game, Daniel Diagur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Elbert Klerk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 77th minute, Espirillo FC's Silvio Domeka seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Silvio Domeka the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Espirillo FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Silvio Domeka had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Simon Milian successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A long shot from Mate Kosor in the 80th minute of play was well struck, but Simon Milian made a really good save at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marius Lăcătuș in the 81st minute of play forced GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s goalkeeper Elbert Klerk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Diagur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elbert Klerk having to make a save. Jairo Rutenio took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elbert Klerk. Elbert Klerk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
