The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mario Chaime sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelio Martorella in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erasmo Ado saved Bresikas from getting behind. 13 minutes into the match, Aurelio Martorella had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erasmo Ado. Bresikas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aurelio Martorella was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Fedele Di Tommaso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Santoryu FC's Fedele Di Tommaso in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bresikas's goalie prevented a goal. When Aurelio Martorella came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Santoryu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelio Martorella couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Aurelio Martorella's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erasmo Ado was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. After 33 minutes, Luciano Savion mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bresikas and the Santoryu FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serafin Fernandes was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Bresikas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Ignatius to maneuver through the defense. Erasmo Ado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fedele Di Tommaso's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. After a rather tough play, Santoryu FC's Camillo Punta got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 56 played minutes Bresikas got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Rolado. Erasmo Ado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedele Di Tommaso in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60thth minute of the game Fedele Di Tommaso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bresikas's Erasmo Ado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Fedele Di Tommaso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelio Martorella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camillo Punta kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Aurelio Martorella reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erasmo Ado. The goal made the score 0-2. Armin Giolo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafin Fernandes in the 77th minute of play. In the 81st minute of the match, Aurelio Martorella tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Erasmo Ado saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Armin Giolo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafin Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Delmiro Hermelando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 88 minutes of play, Santoryu FC's Fedele Di Tommaso made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erasmo Ado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fedele Di Tommaso had several of the Bresikas's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 91 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Erasmo Ado as he didn't even see the shot coming.
