Toni Marčić's late challenge caught a MIT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Mate Kosor was substituted for Ninoslav Stipanić. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leontin Iacobescu to make the kick off. Oton Mangafić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitko Vutev having to interfere. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ made a substitution. Florencio Hanni replaced Kruno Lišinović. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elbert Klerk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th minute, Andrei Opincaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th match minute, MIT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrei Opincaru to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Marcu Voitiş sped through GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elbert Klerk. Elbert Klerk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcu Voitiş's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Elbert Klerk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcu Voitiş in the 85th minute of play. Marcu Voitiş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Elbert Klerk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elbert Klerk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcu Voitiş in the 90th minute of the match. After 93 played minutes MIT got a freekick which was hit by Cristi Foltea. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Teo Rozić in the 96th minute. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Teo Rozić was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vitko Vutev in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 98th minute Marcu Voitiş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elbert Klerk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded MIT left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than GNK Dinamo Zagreb™.
