The corner led MIT's Sabin Eniceicu to fire away a dangerous shot which Cyprian Wojtkiewicz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Moneteria's Tomasz Arada dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leontin Iacobescu in the 64th minute of play forced Moneteria's goalkeeper Cyprian Wojtkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateusz Chazon's late challenge caught a MIT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
