Edgar Teodor started the match with the kick off. When Flavius Câmpeanu fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MIT's protests and gave Flavius Câmpeanu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, MIT's Flavius Câmpeanu got a free kick in the 2nd minute. The long shot by Elpidio Hever in the 3rd minute really tested Vitko Vutev's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Eustaquio Haitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Teodor in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Oier in the 16th minute of play forced MIT's goalkeeper Vitko Vutev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 minutes of play, MIT's Edgar Teodor made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eustaquio Haitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to MIT getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Flavius Câmpeanu hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Crottos Crotters F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Emil Glodeanu came free, but Eustaquio Haitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eustaquio Haitz came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by MIT's Emil Glodeanu. But to his dismay, Emil Glodeanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Eustaquio Haitz came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by MIT's Edgar Teodor. But to his dismay, Edgar Teodor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 38th minute, Edgar Teodor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgar Teodor took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eustaquio Haitz. Eustaquio Haitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After the first half MIT were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Bertoni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Crottos Crotters F.C. got a corner. MIT's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elpidio Hever ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Daniel Bertoni almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MIT's Vitko Vutev did a great save. MIT's Vitko Vutev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Lizer in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Edgar Teodor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eustaquio Haitz made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Edgar Teodor sent off a good shot on target. If Edgar Teodor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Crottos Crotters F.C. made a substitution. Fabian Remir replaced Eulalio Lizer. In the 75th minute Walter Silvera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitko Vutev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute of the match, Edgar Teodor tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eustaquio Haitz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 77 minutes, Cristi Foltea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MIT and the Crottos Crotters F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Crottos Crotters F.C. booed when MIT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristi Foltea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eustaquio Haitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Teodor, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 88 minutes into the game, MIT's Edgar Teodor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eustaquio Haitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. The supporters of Crottos Crotters F.C. booed when MIT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihai Cismaș didn't get a good kick on the ball. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Eustaquio Haitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Teodor in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. MIT had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
