An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedele Di Tommaso in the 8th minute of play forced GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s goalkeeper Ibrica Džidžić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fedele Di Tommaso in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ibrica Džidžić prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Damiano Sisti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ibrica Džidžić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fedele Di Tommaso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teo Rozić hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Santoryu FC's Armin Giolo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Santoryu FC from getting a goal against them. Santoryu FC's Corrado Lizzi suffered a concussion after 25 minutes and had to leave the field. In the 26th minute, Osmar Motta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ibrica Džidžić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fedele Di Tommaso, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Oton Mangafić kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute of the match Alfredo Malvezzi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ibrica Džidžić showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ibrica Džidžić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fedele Di Tommaso, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Santoryu FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toni Marčić to make the kick off. If Aurelio Martorella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Florencio Hanni was substituted for Kruno Lišinović. Osmar Motta hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute of the match Alfredo Malvezzi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ibrica Džidžić showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fedele Di Tommaso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Ibrica Džidžić when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Santoryu FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
