Spectators: 7679 (Terracing: 5760, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) MIT's Leontin Iacobescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Serafin Fernandes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Vitko Vutev made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leontin Iacobescu in the 8th minute of play forced Bresikas's goalkeeper Erasmo Ado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leontin Iacobescu kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th minute German Natal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitko Vutev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristi Foltea kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leontin Iacobescu in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erasmo Ado saved Bresikas from getting behind. 42 minutes into the game, Bresikas's Mario Chaime nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vitko Vutev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 45th minute, Leontin Iacobescu made a precise shot to the right of Erasmo Ado. Bresikas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serafin Fernandes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Marcel Pătrășconiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Narciso Ignatius blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vitko Vutev having to make a save. Daniel Enișteanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Erasmo Ado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remus Chilian during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Remus Chilian hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. MIT's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sabin Eniceicu in the 66th minute. The corner led to MIT's Leontin Iacobescu getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Daniel Enișteanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Erasmo Ado made a huge save. Marcu Voitiş's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Erasmo Ado skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. MIT's Marcu Voitiş got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mario Chaime had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th match minute, MIT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabin Eniceicu to maneuver through the defense. After 87 played minutes, Bresikas's German Natal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vitko Vutev came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bresikas reached it. Bresikas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of MIT for a fine match.
