Jan-Olof Alin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Javier Milei made a huge save. In the 37th minute Augusto Urdin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kennet Lagerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cayetano Brion fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club El Progreso's protests and gave Cayetano Brion a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bearnaise EA booed when Club El Progreso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Brion didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Ebere in the 43rd minute of play forced Bearnaise EA's goalkeeper Kennet Lagerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Olof Alin took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Javier Milei. Javier Milei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Ignacio Ebere made the kick off in the second half. Javier Milei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Olsmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the match, Jan-Olof Alin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Javier Milei. Club El Progreso's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan-Olof Alin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After 62 minutes, Sten Olsmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bearnaise EA and the Club El Progreso players grew even worse after the yellow card. Club El Progreso's Javier Milei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Hjortsberg in the 67th minute of play. Javier Milei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Olof Alin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bo-Erik Melin kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Javier Milei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Olof Alin's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Club El Progreso's Javier Milei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agne Aronsson in the 88th minute of play. Javier Milei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Olof Alin in the 93rd minute of play.
