Spectators: 7707 (Terracing: 5782, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 153) Ignacio Ebere started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Ignacio Ebere ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enrique Lekubegi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Rodas Canillas charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodas Canillas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 6 played minutes Club El Progreso got a freekick which was hit by Rodas Canillas. The referee felt a red card was in order, 7 minutes into the game, when Rodas Canillas put in a rough tackle. In the 8th minute, Rodas Canillas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Guipuzkoa in the 10th minute of play forced Club El Progreso's goalkeeper Javier Milei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Javier Milei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Anselmo Domingues fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palermo's protests and gave Anselmo Domingues a yellow card for diving instead. Anselmo Domingues hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Javier Milei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Fernendo in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Ignacio Ebere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Lekubegi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Javier Milei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Fernendo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Palermo's Enrique Lekubegi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Palermo from getting a goal against them. Donato Vachon scored 1-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Javier Milei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Enrique Lekubegi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Ebere in the 58th minute of the match. After 63 played minutes Club El Progreso got a freekick which was hit by Delfim Cordobé. Javier Milei acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 64th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Anibal Fernendo. In the 67th minute, Cayetano Brion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donato Vachon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Javier Milei made a huge save. Club El Progreso's Javier Milei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Club El Progreso from getting a goal against them. Club El Progreso were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Palermo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cayetano Brion took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Palermo's goalie and right to Santi Rivero. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Palermo's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Delfim Cordobé kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Club El Progreso's Javier Milei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Club El Progreso from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Club El Progreso's Augusto Urdin got a free kick in the 79th minute. Augusto Urdin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrique Lekubegi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Maxin in the 86th minute of the match. Enrique Lekubegi came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Club El Progreso's Ignacio Ebere. But to his dismay, Ignacio Ebere quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Urdin during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Augusto Urdin kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Anselmo Domingues's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Javier Milei firmly grabbed it by the left post.
