Spectators: 7671 (Terracing: 5754, Seating: 1764, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ignacio Ebere took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 minutes, Lisandro Argi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palermo and the Club El Progreso players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Club El Progreso booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Argi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrique Lekubegi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Brion, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. A hard shot 6 in the game by Donato Vachon from a close distance when the talented Javier Milei managed to make a qualified save. Club El Progreso's players were relieved. The supporters of Club El Progreso booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th match minute, Club El Progreso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Ebere to maneuver through the defense. Ignacio Ebere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Lekubegi having to interfere. In the 13th minute Bruno Maxin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Lekubegi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 17 minutes into the game, when Lisandro Argi put in a rough tackle. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Palermo! In the 19th minute there was a penalty for Club El Progreso. Cayetano Brion stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Enrique Lekubegi. 0-1. Enrique Lekubegi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Urdin in the 22nd minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Club El Progreso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ted Tolsson to maneuver through the defense. Javier Milei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Gaufred in the 33rd minute of play. Palermo's Enrique Lekubegi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Urdin in the 35th minute of play. Enrique Lekubegi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Urdin in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of Palermo booed when Club El Progreso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Urdin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Javier Milei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Palermo were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Club El Progreso's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anibal Fernendo took the corner. Anibal Fernendo made a great header on Palermo's corner, it was just that Club El Progreso's Javier Milei managed to reach the ball for a save. Enrique Lekubegi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Cordobé in the 47th minute of play. After 47 minutes of play, Club El Progreso's Delfim Cordobé made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enrique Lekubegi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicanor Gaufred to strike the kick off in the second half. If Augusto Urdin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cayetano Brion kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After 75 played minutes Club El Progreso got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Urdin. 77 minutes into the match, Club El Progreso's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Gaufred came free, but Javier Milei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Augusto Urdin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Maxin got free with Enrique Lekubegi in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Palermo's Donato Vachon got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Enrique Lekubegi came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Club El Progreso's Bruno Maxin. But to his dismay, Bruno Maxin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. When the final whistle sounded Club El Progreso left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Palermo.
