Enrique Lekubegi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogumil Orlicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Enrique Lekubegi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Enrique Lekubegi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wasyl Dobrzechowski's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. 54 minutes into the match, Bogumil Orlicki notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Palermo's Enrique Lekubegi. Enrique Lekubegi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 59 minutes into the game, Samuel Toussain cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Enrique Lekubegi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samuel Toussain went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Vladimiro Nafarroa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donato Vachon in the 77th minute. Palermo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Enrique Lekubegi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eddie Holm's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute.
