Eusébio Quintanilha kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Ɍυƒυs™'s Horácio Caiado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ken Koppel in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute of the match Armageddon got a corner. Ɍυƒυs™'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vello Vitt ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Armageddon's Taavi Oolo getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Armageddon were furious when Taavi Oolo was red carded, 29 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 29th minute, one of Armageddon:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Armageddon. Horácio Caiado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Travis Trump, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The corner led Armageddon's Vello Vitt to fire away a dangerous shot which Horácio Caiado despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jacinto Azenha hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Armageddon's Andrus Koikson got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 42nd minute of the match Armageddon got a corner. Ɍυƒυs™'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vello Vitt ran over to the corner to take the kick. 44 minutes into the match, Ɍυƒυs™'s goalkeeper Horácio Caiado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Travis Trump. Ken Koppel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horácio Caiado having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saúl Soveral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saúl Soveral in the 51st minute of play forced Armageddon's goalkeeper Peeter Nurk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gervásio Lages got free with Peeter Nurk in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ɍυƒυs™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervásio Lages was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Travis Trump scored 1-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horácio Caiado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 95 minutes into the game, Vello Vitt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Horácio Caiado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Armageddon players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
