When Trabzonspor's Timur Ulum in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SÉ SE's goalie prevented a goal. 4 minutes into the match, SÉ SE's goal looked a bit too open when Timur Ulum came free, but Gyula Grosics reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 5 minutes, András Hámori mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SÉ SE and the Trabzonspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. András Hámori kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, SÉ SE's goal looked a bit too open when Timur Ulum came free, but Gyula Grosics reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 8 minutes, Timur Ulum managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trabzonspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timur Ulum was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timur Ulum in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gyula Grosics saved SÉ SE from getting behind. 15 minutes into the match, SÉ SE's goal looked a bit too open when Timur Ulum came free, but Gyula Grosics reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trabzonspor's Ensar İğdemir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Trabzonspor from getting a goal against them. 18 minutes into the game, Timur Ulum cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gyula Grosics was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Trabzonspor's Mahmoud Trezeguet got a free kick in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the game, András Rácz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Trabzonspor's Antony Nwakaeme quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norbert Veress during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Timur Ulum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Gyula Grosics tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gyula Grosics showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timur Ulum, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When Imre Fülöp fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SÉ SE's protests and gave Imre Fülöp a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SÉ SE getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Imre Fülöp hit a great ball. Timur Ulum kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, SÉ SE's goal looked a bit too open when Timur Ulum came free, but Gyula Grosics reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trabzonspor's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Mátyás Török scored to the left of an out of position Ensar İğdemir, making the score, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mahmoud Trezeguet to make the kick off. SÉ SE's Gyula Grosics played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mahmoud Trezeguet in the 52nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SÉ SE's zone, Timur Ulum stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gyula Grosics came out of the goal and Timur Ulum tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Timur Ulum recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gyula Grosics made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timur Ulum in the 60th minute of play. Gyula Grosics made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mahmoud Trezeguet in the 63rd minute of play. Norbert Rózsa struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Ensar İğdemir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SÉ SE. Trabzonspor's Ensar İğdemir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Rózsa in the 65th minute of play. If Mahmoud Trezeguet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trabzonspor made a substitution. Naim Tezalp replaced Vahap Tanır. After 71 played minutes Trabzonspor got a freekick which was hit by Mahmoud Trezeguet. In the 71st match minute, SÉ SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mátyás Török to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, SÉ SE's Norbert Rózsa got a free kick in the 76th minute. Gürsel Sönmezalp's late challenge caught a SÉ SE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gürsel Sönmezalp helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SÉ SE booed when Trabzonspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gürsel Sönmezalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Trabzonspor's goal looked a bit too open when András Hámori came free, but Ensar İğdemir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gyula Grosics made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timur Ulum in the 85th minute. SÉ SE's Gyula Grosics played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timur Ulum in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mahmoud Trezeguet in the 90th minute of play forced SÉ SE's goalkeeper Gyula Grosics to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Pál Pulai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, SÉ SE's goalkeeper Gyula Grosics had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timur Ulum. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
