After 14 minutes of play, AC Civetta Notturna's Bernardo Carbonaro made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Timur Ulum was left in no man's land by his defense there! Göktuğ Yücealp hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Timur Ulum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Carbonaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mahmoud Trezeguet in the 25th minute of play forced AC Civetta Notturna's goalkeeper Mark Evans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gökalp Berksan kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After 32 played minutes Trabzonspor got a freekick which was hit by Mahmoud Trezeguet. After 40 minutes, Ennio Valeri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Civetta Notturna and the Trabzonspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Trabzonspor booed when AC Civetta Notturna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ennio Valeri didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardo Carbonaro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Cristiano Baresi fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Civetta Notturna's protests and gave Cristiano Baresi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Trabzonspor booed when AC Civetta Notturna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Baresi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Domenico Allegretti took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Timur Ulum to make any attempt to save it. After 68 played minutes AC Civetta Notturna got a freekick which was hit by Demetrio De Felice. After a defensive mix-up in AC Civetta Notturna's zone, Gökalp Berksan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mark Evans came out of the goal and Gökalp Berksan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cihangir İlkim's late challenge caught a AC Civetta Notturna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cihangir İlkim helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of AC Civetta Notturna booed when Trabzonspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cihangir İlkim didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Gökalp Berksan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trabzonspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Gökalp Berksan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mark Evans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th match minute, AC Civetta Notturna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniele Di Nardo to maneuver through the defense. Mark Evans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antony Nwakaeme in the 93rd minute of play. Demetrio De Felice charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Demetrio De Felice the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mark Evans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökalp Berksan in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AC Civetta Notturna had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
