Spectators: 7666 (Terracing: 5751, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Yan Netto took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ivo de Moraes came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Dogelo's Lino dos Santos. But to his dismay, Lino dos Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 6 played minutes Pesqueira City got a freekick which was hit by Hernani Tavares. Ivo de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino dos Santos in the 11th minute of play. Dogelo's Võ Gozali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yan Netto in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute Gino Arósio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivo de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dogelo's Lino dos Santos in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pesqueira City's goalie prevented a goal. 24 minutes into the match, Dogelo's goal looked a bit too open when Marquinhos Moraes came free, but Võ Gozali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Lino dos Santos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ivo de Moraes. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 32nd minute, Michel Zanette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maurício Novaes hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Maurício Novaes's late challenge caught a Pesqueira City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maurício Novaes helped the player get up and apologised. Dogelo's Sérgio Gaúcho quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dito da Cunha, made in the 42nd minute of the game. Ivo de Moraes made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Lino dos Santos sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

After some careless play in the Pesqueira City defense, Lino dos Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivo de Moraes. The Pesqueira City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivo de Moraes should have stopped the shot. When Michel Zanette came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Dogelo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michel Zanette couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Pesqueira City defense, Lino dos Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivo de Moraes. The Pesqueira City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivo de Moraes should have stopped the shot. Ivo de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino dos Santos in the 65th minute of play. Ivo de Moraes came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Dogelo's Lino dos Santos. But to his dismay, Lino dos Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Ivo de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The supporters of Dogelo booed when Pesqueira City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dito da Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the game, Vladimir Ramalho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Ivo de Moraes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ivo de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Pesqueira City's goal looked a bit too open when Lino dos Santos came free, but Ivo de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Michel Zanette came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Dogelo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michel Zanette couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Dogelo fully deserved thier win.
