After 7 played minutes, ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Manuel Iban shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Olov Groth came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ..Villa Rugby Club.. reached it. Olov Groth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Iban in the 10th minute of play. The corner ended in Manuel Iban almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Snipers's Olov Groth did a great save. Douglas Wiman was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Snipers's players had a chance to rest. Lennart Svensson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Rene Higuita made a huge save. 29 minutes into the match, Lucas Langoni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olov Groth. FC Snipers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Langoni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Alan Chupakhin scored 0-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olov Groth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 38 minutes into the match, FC Snipers's goal looked a bit too open when Roque James came free, but Olov Groth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Augusto Udalaitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olov Groth was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Godholm in the 50th minute of play forced ..Villa Rugby Club..'s goalkeeper Rene Higuita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Langoni kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Augusto Udalaitz fired away a shot on goal. Rene Higuita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Haglund in the 71st minute of the match. ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Rene Higuita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inge Gustafsson in the 73rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Snipers's zone, Augusto Udalaitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olov Groth came out of the goal and Augusto Udalaitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd match minute, FC Snipers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas Wiman to maneuver through the defense. Olov Groth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Chupakhin, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. When Jarl Nässén was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. The supporters of ..Villa Rugby Club.. booed when FC Snipers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarl Nässén didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inge Gustafsson's late challenge caught a ..Villa Rugby Club..'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
